Had a client system blue screening, initial thought hard drive. Ran Dell integrated IDE diagnostics and it returned a fail code of 4. There was no valuable data so I ran Spinrite against the system and Spinrite completed with no errors. Re-ran a Seagate diagnostic (using UBCD diagnostics) and this time no error code. Yesterday, Thursday, at 8:30 a.m. we received our first call with a client complaining of a system identifying a virus and subsequent their PC has continued to freeze and lockup. Upon remotely checking the client system we found the following file quarantined:
C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADOBE\ ACROBAT 8.0\ACROBAT\ ACROBATFNP. DLL

This past two weeks I’ve come across two minor Outlook 2003 issues; setting up a secondary Outlook profile then getting Outlook to prompt for that second profile, the second issue a user with a basic POP3/SMTP Outlook profile that would not allow clearing of an outbound message.
